Wow! It's been hard to keep this one quiet. I can now say that Light of Mine is an official selection for AFI Fest in LA next month. We'll be playing in the Breakthrough section- films found entirely thru the submission process. Talk about awesome. What's even crazier is that only 4 films are in this section... and Light of Mine is the only film from the US! Wow.
It hasn't been without its drama, though. Our sound is off sync- something happened with the Dolby E track when we were making the HDCam tape. I'm pretty anti-techinical so I'll just leave it at that. The stereo sound work great but the notion is that since we spent a lot of time and money for surround, we might as well try to make it happen...
I'll post more details as they unfold. I;m so proud and grateful to have worked with such an awesome group of people on this film!
